Washington County Sheriff Matt Thomas is a solid Consitutional Sheriff. He has partnered with sheriffs from Adams and Payette counties, as well as Malhuer County in Oregon, in an effort to defend the citizens of their counties from federal government overreach. In spite of the heat he has taken from some liberals he has maintained his position. Idaho Constitutional Sheriffs gives Matt Thomas a solid A+ and backs him in his next election.
There is not currently a candidate identified who will be running against Sheriff Thomas in the next election.
